DePaul Picks Up Four Wins on Day One at Notre Dame

Blue Demons go 4-3 in two rounds of singles
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – After a slow 1-3 start on day one of the Bobby Bayliss Invitational, the Blue Demons bounced back in the second round of singles, picking up three match wins.
Elias Anwar led the charge, picking up a victory in his round one matchup against Drake's Will Blevins.
In round two of day one, Sven Moser and Jona Gitschel both secured tie-breaker victories.
Matteo Iaquinto also bounced back after his round one tie-breaker loss, to beat Mitchell Deames of Vanderbilt, 6-4, 6-4.
Day two of the Notre Dame Invitational will be moved indoors to the Eck Tennis Pavilion, and begins with doubles at 10:00 A.M. CT. Singles play begins at 11:30 A.M. CT on Saturday, with the hope to move back outside to the Courtney Tennis Center.
The Blue Demon pairs of Moser/Anwar and Gitschel/Iaquinto look to dominate their WMU and Purdue opponents in doubles play. Round three of singles will resume immediately following.
