Anaya Peoples Earns BIG EAST Honor Roll Nod

Graduate guard averages 25 points and nine rebounds in 2-0 week for DePaul
NEW YORK – DePaul guard Anaya Peoples was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second time in three weeks after averaging 25.0 points and 9.0 rebounds in a 2-0 week for the Blue Demons.
Peoples paced the effort in DePaul's double-digit victories over Howard and Loyola last week. She recorded her second double-double of the season with 21 points and 13 rebounds against the Bison in the Battle 4 Atlantis finale before pouring in career-highs of 29 points and eight assists versus Loyola Chicago.
The Danville, Ill. native leads the Blue Demons and ranks second in the conference in scoring with 21.3 points per game through seven contests. She has finished in double figures in all seven games and posted a BIG EAST-best five 20-point performances. Peoples' 8.3 rebounds a game is good for second in the league.
DePaul (4-3) returns to the court on Thursday, Nov. 30 when the Blue Demons host Michigan State at Wintrust Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network.
