Blue Demons fall in Littlewood Classic Finale
PHOENIX, Ariz. – After falling behind six runs after two innings, DePaul mounted a furious comeback to tie Sunday's weekend finale in the top of the seventh, but it wasn't enough as Portland State used a two-out walk-off double to claim the 7-6 victory.

The Blue Demons relied on the long ball on Sunday, with Brooke Johnson notching her fourth home run of the season in the fourth and Anna Wohlers immediately following with her first of two homers on the outing.
Â
Grace Frazier recorded a two-for-three day while scoring two runs and drawing a walk with fellow outfielder Addison Talbot tallying her first career triple in one of two at bats.

In the third, Frazier sent a base hit up the middle before Johnson brought her home on a home run to left field. In the next at bat, Wohlers delivered to right field to bring DePaul within three, 6-3.
Â
