Women’s tennis hits road for weekend trip
CHICAGO - DePaul women's tennis looks to extend their three-match win streak with a road swing to Omaha, Neb. this weekend. The Blue Demons will take on the Omaha Mavericks on Saturday and the Creighton Bluejays on Sunday.Â
The Mavericks come into the weekend with a 4-6 overall record, dropping their last match to Northern Iowa on Tuesday, 4-0. The Blue Demons will play the Mavericks on Saturday, Feb. 25 with first serve set for 2 p.m.
On Sunday, DePaul will partake in their second BIG EAST match of the season. The Creighton Bluejays come into the match with a 7-1 record, their lone loss coming at Drake. The conference matchup is slated to begin at 11 a.m.
The Blue Demons will be back home next weekend when they take on Drake and Marquette on Friday and Saturday, respectively.Â
