Women’s tennis prepares for third BIG EAST match
CHICAGO - The DePaul women's tennis looks to continue their seven-match win streak in a BIG EAST matchup with the Georgetown Hoyas on Saturday evening. First serve is set for 4:30 p.m. CT.
Georgetown comes into the weekend with a 8-4 record and have won three straight. The Hoyas have notched wins against Marquette, Omaha and Georgetown.Â
The Blue Demons have won seven straight matches, most recently taking down Drake and Marquette. DePaul has gone undefeated in conference play, earning a 3-0 record throughout dual play.Â
In singles play, Valentina Martin, Hannah Smith and Maddie Yergler have each won four straight matches. On the doubles courts, Yuliya Kizelbasheva and Lenka Antonijevic have won three straight to move to 4-3 on the season.Â
DePaul will be back in action on Saturday, March 25 when they take on the University of South Florida. First serve against the Bulls is set for 11 a.m.
