DePaul Readies for Redbird Challenge

The Blue Demons continue the outdoor season in Normal, Ill.
CHICAGO – DePaul track and field continues their outdoor season on Saturday at the Redbird Challenge, hosted by Illinois State in Normal, Ill.Â
Action will begin on Saturday morning with field events, starting with the women's and men's hammer throw at 8 a.m. Billie Martin will represent the Blue Demons on the women's side while Ian Cox, Tommy Goggin and Ben Litwin will participate on the men's side.Â
Events in the oval begin at 11 a.m. with the 1500m as Griffin Lehnhardt, Lucas Orwig and Jackson Thomas will participate. Valerie Whitted will make her season debut in the 100m hurdles. Â
Jade Pope, Kayliah Motes, Lauren Pacsi and Nadja Moll will all look to earn top finishes in the women's 400m. The Redbird Challenge will conclude with the men's 200m dash, as Zach Debelak will represent DePaul.
The Blue Demons will be back in action on April 8 at the Illini Challenge, hosted at the University of Illinois.
