LOUISVILLE, Ky. / AZUSA, Calif. - The DePaul track and field team has concluded their busiest weekend of the outdoor season yet. With competition happening in three different meets across two different states, the Blue Demons were able to pull together an impressive feat. Four members of the team broke program records, as well as multiple top-three finishes.
On Friday in Louisville, Alex Bernstein kicked off the day with a first place finish in the men's hammer throw, earning a final distance of 62.47m. Saturday's slate in Louisville, Ky. consisted of 15 top-three finishes across events at the Jim Freeman Invitational. Among the top finishes, Darius Brown broke his own school record in the men's 110m hurdles event with a final time of 13.62.
Isabella Hilditch took first place in the women's 100m hurdles, earning a time of 13.65. Hilditch then followed up with a solid 200m performance when she finished with a time of 24.23.
