The outdoor season continues in Champaign
CHICAGO – DePaul track and field will continue their outdoor season on Friday and Saturday at the Gary Weineke Memorial Meet hosted by the University of Illinois in Champaign, Ill.
Friday's action will begin with the men and women's hammer throw at 11:30 a.m. Long jump and triple jump events are to follow.
Competition in the oval will begin at 1 p.m. with the women and men's 4x100 relay. The remainder of the day will be highlighted by the 1500m, women's 100m hurdles, men's 110m hurdles, and the 200m.
Saturday's slate is set to begin at 1 p.m. on the field and on the track. Field events will consist of discus, shot put and high jump. Running events will include 100m, 400m, 800m and the 4x400m relay.
