Sophomore smashes personal best with 17:22.2 in the 5000m
BOSTON – DePaul track and field's Vivian Wyller started her sophomore campaign strong with a personal best in the 5000m at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener Saturday evening.
In a loaded field with nearly 200 runners both collegiate and professional, Wyller held her own and beat her previous mark by 14 seconds with a time of 17:11.22.
Wyller and the Blue Demons return to Chicago to host the Blue Demon Holiday Invite at Gately Indoor Friday, Dec. 12.
