
Women’s Tennis Prepares for Final Homestand

Blue Demons welcome Seton Hall and St. John’s
CHICAGO - The DePaul women's tennis looks to get back in the win column as the team hosts their final home matches of the 2023 season this weekend when Seton Hall and St. John's come to town for BIG EAST action.
The Blue Demons fell 5-2 in their most recent matchup against the Cincinnati Bearcats on April 1. The team holds a 9-8 overall record and is 4-1 in BIG EAST play.
Seton Hall (6-9, 0-2 BIG EAST) is coming off of a 5-2 win over Queens College on March 31. The Pirates and the Blue Demons last met on April 8 in South Orange, N.J, and DePaul was able to come away with a 6-1. Friday's match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. and will follow the DePaul men's tennis team vs. Villanova.
On Saturday, DePaul will celebrate Lenka Antonijevic, Valentina Martin and Maddie Yergler will be celebrated pre-match with a Senior Day celebration before taking on St. John's (11-6, 4-0 BIG EAST). The Red Storm have won their last four matches, taking down Providence, UConn, Georgetown and Hofstra. The last meeting between the two programs was on April 23, 2022 when DePaul defeated St. John's 4-2 in the BIG EAST Championship semifinals.
First serve on Saturday set for 1:30 p.m. from XS Tennis Village.
The Blue Demons will wrap up regular season action on April 14 when they visit UIC. Service from XS Tennis is set for 1 p.m.
