Kolar Sits in Top Five After First Day of Hoosier Collegiate

BLOOMINGTON, IND. – Following 36 holes Saturday, the DePaul golf team sits in seventh place at the Hoosier Collegiate Invitational. The Blue Demons were highlighted by a steady performance from Noah Kolar who finished the day 144 (+2) to sit in a tie for fourth place.

As a team, DePaul moved up two spots thanks to a 298 (+14) finish in the second round. The Blue Demons improvement was highlighted by a second-round par performance from freshman Billy Gneiser. He ended the day in an eight-way tie for 41st, including two teammates Conor Glennon and Billy Gneiser.

DePaul will kick off Sunday's final round of 18 with a 7:30 a.m. CT tee time.
