The Blue Demons continue BIG EAST play Friday and Sunday
CHICAGO – DePaul volleyball is set to head east for another pair of conference matches this weekend, seeking their first three-match win streak since opening the season 3-0 in Peoria, Illinois. The Blue Demons will face Georgetown in Washington D.C. on Friday, October 11, before heading to South Orange, New Jersey to face the Seton Hall Pirates on Sunday, October 13. First serve on Friday is set for 6 p.m. CT, with the match streaming here, while the Sunday match will commence at 12 p.m. CT, and can be streamed on FloSports here.
"Georgetown has a lot of offense this year from multiple attackers," said head coach Marie Zidek.
"Last year, Georgetown only relied on one main attacker, so it will be key to manage their offense by serving tough and winning the dig to transition game. Seton Hall returns key offense as well, so both game plans are similar. It's going to be a test for us, as both teams play well at home. We're excited for the opportunity to shoot the gap in October. Teams get better or worse in October, and we have really focused on being a team that gets better by ramping up our training intensity."
