CHICAGO – DePaul men's soccer couldn't quite find its offensive rhythm in a 4-0 defeat to No. 25 Akron on Saturday afternoon at Wish Field.

Â
DePaul mustered just a pair of shots in the setback credited to George Wyatt and Nolan McGuire.
Â

How it Happend
The Blue Demons earned their first corner of the game in the third minute. Hernandez served the ball in to find George Wyatt's head but the shot was off the mark.
Â
The fourteenth minute saw Akron score the game's first goal, remaining patient in the build up for Emil Jaaskelanien to thread the ball through DePaul's back line of defense for Victor Gaulmin to finish.
Â
Six minutes later, the Zips struck again to make the game 2-0 as Malik Henry fired near post from the right side of the box to double the advantage.
Â
DePaul saw a penalty kick wiped away in the 26th minute after an official review deemed limited contact in the box from the Zips goalkeeper.

Akron held a 4-2 edge in shots headed into halftime, including a 2-0 advantage in shots on target.
Â
Jaaskelanien, the nation's leader in goals, found the back of the net on two occasions in the second half to help the Zips remain unbeaten in BIG EAST action.
