Cross Country Prepares for BIG EAST Championships

DePaul to compete for Conference title
LEESBURG, Va. – DePaul cross country travels to Leesburg, Va., for the BIG EAST Cross Country Championships hosted by Georgetown on Friday, Nov. 1, at Morven Park. The women's 6k championship will kick off at 9 a.m. CT, followed by the men's 8k championship at 9:50 a.m. CT, with live streaming available on the BIG EAST Digital Network via FloSports. An awards presentation will follow the races at 11:40 a.m. CT.
In their most recent meet, the Bradley Pink Invitational on Oct. 18, the Blue Demons made a strong showing, with ten of their fourteen finishers achieving personal records. The top-five men's 8k finishers all secured PRs, earning an 11th-place finish out of 29 teams. On the women's side, DePaul placed 21st in the 6k, looking to build momentum for a strong performance at the BIG EAST Championships.
Top performances at Bradley came from Damian Rodriguez, who clocked a 24:11.02 (15th place) in the men's 8k, and Meghan Dieball, who posted a time of 21:25.77 (55th place) in the women's 6k.
Prior to Bradley, DePaul's cross country squads achieved top-five finishes in each of their meets, showcasing consistency and competitive strength they aim to carry into the conference race. All eleven BIG EAST schools will be represented at the Championships, including six USTFCCCA top-30 ranked teams—
