Blue Demons to Compete Against Valparaiso

NEW BUFFALO, MICH. – DePaul golf is set to compete tomorrow, Oct. 7, against Valparaiso in a team competition format at the Dunes Club in New Buffalo, Mich.
The format will begin with each team playing three nines in best ball, alternating shot and individual competition. The team's will tee off at 10am, with all eight of DePaul's golfers competing.
DePaul is off to a strong start to the 2024-25 season with a pair of top-five team finishes at the Golden Grizzlies Classic and the Zach Johnson Invitational. Most recently, the Blue Demons finished in a tie for fifth at the Zach Johnson Invitational where they were highlighted by an outstanding performance from freshman, Dominic Lucchesi. Lucchesi earned BIG EAST Golfer of the Week honors after a top-three finish where he golfed a program-best round of 54, 208 (-5).
Following Monday's competition, DePaul will return to action Oct. 21-22 at the Dayton Flyer Invitational in Kettering, Ohio.
