
Men’s Soccer Heads to Indianapolis for Regular Season Finale

CHICAGO – DePaul men's soccer hits the road to Indianapolis, Ind. to close out the 2024 regular season at Butler on Saturday, Nov. 2. The Blue Demons and Bulldogs will kick off at 1 p.m. CT from Varsity Field.

The Blue Demons remain in contention for a spot in the eight-team 2024 BIG EAST Tournament field and can clinch a berth with a victory on Saturday paired with a Marquette loss to Creighton. It would be DePaul's first postseason appearance since 2016.

- Sophomore midfielder Noeh Hernandez has been a star for the Blue Demons with a team-best seven goals and seven assists, contributing to 53-percent of DePaul's goals on the season.His 21 points is second in the league
- Graduate forward Logan Finnegan is second on the squad with four goals in his final collegiate campaign while sophomore Keagan Pace and Liam Mullins have tallied three goals apiece. Pace has added five assists to rank second on the team with 11 points.
- The sophomore trio of Hernandez, Mullins and Pace has combined to score half of DePaul's goals on the season while also distributing half of the team's assists.
- Goalkeeper Santiago Davila has started all 15 matches between the pipes, making a league-best 60 saves and two clean sheets to his credit.
- The Bulldogs are 4-9-3 heading into the final match and are 1-6 in conference play.
- Butler's lone victory in conference play came against Xavier in a 5-1 decision at home on Oct. 23.
- Junior forward Josemir Gomez leads the Bulldogs with eight goals in 2024 which is second in the league while totaling 18 points.
- Paul Snape is in his 14th season at the helm of the Butler program.
- The Blue Demons and Bulldogs will meet for the 17th time on Sunday afternoon. Butler leads the all-time series, 8-2-6.
- The two sides have drawn in the last three meetings including a 1-1 decision at Wish Field on October 14, 2023.
- DePaul's last victory in the series came in October of 2016, a 1-0 double overtime win in Chicago.
