
DePaul Falls Tuesday Night at St. John's

ELMONT, N.Y. – The DePaul men's basketball team dropped its Tuesday night matchup at St. John's, 85-57. The Blue Demons were led in scoring by K.T. Raimey and Jalen Terry with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Elijah Fisher tied a personal best, leading the team with five assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
St. John's (14-9, 6-6 BIG EAST) used an 11-0 run for a double-digit, 16-4, lead off of five early DePaul (3-20, 0-12 BIG EAST) turnovers. Mac Etienne proved to be a spark off the bench with two quick baskets after entering the game and helping the Blue Demons to a stretch of 5-of-their last 7 from the floor. DePaul then put up 11 unanswered points of its own, including back-to-back three-pointers by Terry and K.T. Raimey, making it a five-point game, 33-28. St. John's ended the half with a pair of baskets to hold a nine-point lead at halftime.
The Jonnies immediately took control to open the second half, outsourcing DePaul 16-6 in the opening seven minutes of the game.
