DePaul Track and Field Opens Its Outdoor Season in Orlando

20 Blue Demons head to Florida
CHICAGO – DePaul track and field opens up its outdoor campaign in Orlando, Fla. with UCF's Black and Gold Invite Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16. 20 Blue Demons will be making the trek down south. Fans can keep up with all the action here.Â
ÂCharlotte Anderson kicks off Friday for DePaul with the women's Javelin at 1 p.m. CT. Kash Allen will be making her outdoor debut as a Blue Demon alongside Noelle Malkamki in the women's shot put at 4 p.m. Malkamaki's last outdoor performance was her world record breaking win at the 2023 World Para Athletic Championships.Â
ÂThe men's and women's 200m will round out Friday's competition. On Saturday, competition starts bright and early with the women's hammer throw at 9 am. DePaul's outdoor triple jump record holder, Jaiah Hopf is set to compete at 11 a.m. Hopf broke the record as a freshman last year with a final mark of 12.59m.Â
ÂPaul Goins makes his outdoor debut as a Blue Demon in the men's 110m hurdles. Following, six women will compete in the 400m at 12:30 p.m., Nadja Moll, Maia Mays, Sonja Nagle, Lauren Pacsi and freshman Claire Dunn who is also making her outdoor debut for DePaul. On the men's side, fans can expect to see Jarel Terry, Charles Lewis and Daniel Fasasi compete.Â
Saturday ends with the women's and men's 100m at 1:10 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. respectively. Jetta Mays and Dominic Cole are set to race.Â
