Yalovenko Pulls Into Third Headed Into Final Round at BIG EAST Championships

HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – Artemiy Yalovenko moved up eight spots individually Sunday, putting himself in position for second place headed into Monday's final round at the BIG EAST Golf Championships. Yalovenko notched a 70 (-1) in Saturday's second round and is one stroke off the lead headed into the final round of 18.
Noah Kolar and Ryder Henares kept their positions in the top-25 with steady performances. Kolar notched a 75 (+3) to sit in a tie for 17th followed by Henares in 22nd with a round two score of 74 (+2). Aarjav Patel rounded out DePaul's team scores with a 79 (+7), after not competing in the first round.
The Blue Demons shaved off 10 strokes from Saturday's total, for a team score of 298 (+10) in the second round. DePaul sits in a tie for ninth place entering the final round. The Blue Demons are set to tee off in Monday's final round at 7:50 a.m. CT. Yalovenko will round out with a 8:26 a.m. CT tee time. The current individual leaders, Aidan Lafferty (Marquette) and Peicheng Chen (St. John's), will tee off at 8:06 a.m. and 9:19, respectively.
