Women’s Soccer Begins Preseason at Milwaukee

Blue Demons visit Milwaukee, Wis. for exhibition match
CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer opens its 2024 preseason slate with an Interstate 94 duel against the Milwaukee Panthers on Saturday, Aug. 3. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. CT at Engelmann Stadium.
Head coach Michele O'Brien readies for her fourth season at the helm, with assistant coaches Peter McKeown (second season) and Brendan Roth (first season) rounding out the Blue Demons' staff.
DePaul returns 20 letterwinners, including key veterans Freya Jupp, Elena Milam, Beth Smyth, and Susie Soderstrom. Eleven newcomers join the Blue Demons this season, including 10 true freshmen and redshirt junior Briley Hill (Nebraska).
Milwaukee welcomes back 24 letter-winners from a 12-3-5 season a year ago while adding 14 newcomers to the mix. Head coach Kevin Boyd enters his third season leading the Panthers.
The Blue Demons return home to Wish Field on Saturday, Aug. 10, for their second and final preseason battle against Michigan State. The exhibition is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT in Lincoln Park.
DePaul's regular season opener will take place on Thursday, Aug. 15 against Northern Illinois at Wish Field.
