Blue Demons to face Xavier and Butler
CHICAGO- DePaul volleyball opens BIG EAST conference play with one match at McGrath-Phillips Arena against Xavier on Wednesday, September 25 at 11 a.m. CT. Action will conclude for the week with a matchup at Butler on Friday, September 27 at 6 p.m. CT. Both matches can be streamed on FloVolleyball here and here.
"Both Xavier and Butler have deceiving records," said head coach Marie Zidek.
"While they may be searching for more wins both teams have been playing well and lnarrowly losing. Everybody is 0-0 in the BIG EAST, and if the league stays as competitive as it has been in previous years, every single match has post-season implications. That said, our task at hand is to neutralize the go-to players on both teams, while providing enough offense on our side of the net to take care of business early. These matches are always competitive, and we look forward to the challenge."
