Women’s Soccer Visits UIC Thursday

CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer travels just four miles south Thursday, Sept. 5, to face cross-town rival, the UIC Flames. The match kicks off at 6 p.m. CT at Flames Field, with streaming available on ESPN+ and live stats on StatBroadcast.

The Blue Demons (0-4-1) aim to rebound after a 4-1 home loss to FGCU on Sunday, Sept. 1. In the match, DePaul out-shot the Eagles 12-10 and earned seven corner kicks compared to FGCU's zero.

UIC (1-4) enters Thursday's match after four consecutive losses, including three shutouts to Milwaukee, Marquette, and Purdue. In their 3-0 loss to Milwaukee on Sunday, Sept. 1, the Flames recorded five saves and seven shots on goal.

In the last match against FGCU, Freya Jupp scored her first goal of the season on a breakaway, assisted by Danielle Fjelsted and Tessa Fagerson.
