Blue Demons to host Marquette before traveling to No. 12 Creighton
CHICAGO – DePaul volleyball is back in the Midwest for another pair of BIG EAST matches, hosting Marquette on Wednesday, October 29, before traveling to No. 12 Creighton for a match on Friday, October 31. Wednesday's first serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside McGrath-Phillips Arena, with the first 100 fans receiving a DePaul beanie. Friday's Halloween battle at Creighton will begin at 11:30 a.m. Tickets for Wednesday's match are available here and both matches can be streamed on ESPN+.
"What an incredible narrative this week is shaping up to be for the program," said head coach Marie Zidek.
"Our team is coming off of a weekend filled with both jubilation and heartbreak. Marquette arrives here with something to prove, and Creighton is surging towards a top ten national ranking, fighting to protect its seed in both the BIG EAST Tournament and the NCAA Championship.
This week is going to be an old-school battle of grit, a test of who can win points the hard way, who can endure the grind during this time of year that strips everything down to the core and reveals true character.
We'll need to show intelligence, discipline and reliability. But above all, we'll need an extraordinary amount of grit, and an unrelenting thirst to break through."

The match is set to commence at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, following a brief pre-match ceremony.
