Men’s Soccer Visits Bradley for Non-Conference Finale Tuesday

Blue Demons visit Peoria for first time since 2021
CHICAGO – DePaul men's soccer closes out its non-conference slate Tuesday evening with a trip downstate to take on Bradley. Kick off from Shea Stadium is set for 6 p.m. with coverage carried live on ESPN+.
Demon Doings
Facing a quick turnaround, DePaul (2-4-5, 0-2-1 BIG EAST) looks to halt a three-game skid on Tuesday evening after dropping a 4-0 decision to Butler on Friday afternoon. Despite the scoreline, the Blue Demons outshot the Bulldogs 18-12 while also earning eight corner kicks and limiting the visitors to two.
The Blue Demons have recorded more shots than its opponents in 10 of 11 matches this season and rank 11th in Division I and leads the BIG EAST with 16.5 per match. Additionally, DePaul continues its consistency in its pressure in the final third, earning 76 corner kicks while holding opponents to just 37 this fall. In the national rankings, the Blue Demons are eighth in corner kicks per match with an average of 6.9.
Noeh Hernandez leads the squad with three goals on the season while Christian Baumgartner and Luca Iaccino have tallied two apiece. Hernandez leads the BIG EAST in shots with 39 this season for an average of 3.5 per contest.
Scouting Bradley
The Braves are 2-4-4 on the season including a 0-1-1 record in Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) action. In its last outing, Bradley dropped a 2-1 decision at Northern Illinois. Junior forward Mitch Coughlon leads the Braves with five goals this season including four in the last three matches. Bradley's goalkeeper Drew Berry ranks 14th in Division I with 47 saves this season. Tim Regan is in his second season leading the program in Peoria.
Series Stuff
Tuesday's matchup is the 12th all-time meeting between the two programs with Bradley owning an 7-2-2 advantage in the previous matchups. Both of DePaul's victories in the series have come in Peoria, including the last visit in September of 2021. Jack Richards and Marek Gonda netted goals for the Blue Demons in the 2-1 triumph.
The two sides met in a preseason scrimmage at Wish Field in August of 2024.
After meetings with Bowling Green, Drake and UIC in 2025, DePaul is 0-2-1 against Missouri Valley Conference programs this season.
