XS Tennis Village selected as host site for ITA Midwest Regionals this fall
CHICAGO – DePaul University will serve as host for the 2025 ITA Division I Midwest Regional Championships, from October 16-20 at XS Tennis Village in Chicago. The five-day event will feature many of the top men's tennis programs across the Midwest Region, with bids to the NCAA Division I Singles and Doubles Championships on the line.
DePaul is one of 13 regional hosts selected by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for this event. The tournament will include a minimum 64-player singles main draw and 32-team doubles main draw, with qualifying draws used to finalize the field. The two singles finalists and the doubles champion from each regional will automatically qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships, set to take place at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., Nov. 18-23.
"DePaul Athletics is proud to once again bring another championship-caliber event to Chicago by hosting the 2025 ITA Midwest Regional Championships," said Executive Associate AD and Chief Revenue Officer Taylor Stapleton. "DePaul remains committed to pursuing opportunities that showcase our programs on a national stage while delivering a first-class experience for all participating student-athletes. Hosting this event reflects our continued investment in the growth of our tennis programs and in collegiate tennis across the Chicago region."
This marks DePaul's first time hosting the ITA Midwest Regional. Admission is free each day.

Opened in 2018, XS Tennis was founded to empower underserved youth in Chicago by providing access to high-quality tennis instruction and academic support. The facility serves as a gateway for student-athletes to pursue higher education through college tennis scholarships, while also fostering excellence on and off the court. In addition to its community-focused mission, XS Tennis proudly serves as the official competition venue for DePaul's men's and women's tennis programs.
The ITA Regional Championships feature over 8,000 student-athletes competing across 85 events nationwide, spanning NCAA Divisions I, II, III, NAIA, and junior/community colleges. The Division I Regionals serve as an official pathway to the NCAA Individual Championships, which adopted a fall format as part of a two-year NCAA pilot approved in 2023.
Championship streaming details, match times, and draws will be announced later this fall.
