DePaul looks to bounce back in front of packed house Thursday night
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – DePaul women's soccer travels to West Lafayette for the ninth time in program history, set to face Big Ten foe Purdue on Thursday, Aug. 21. Streaming coverage begins at 6 p.m. CT on B1G+.
The Blue Demons (1-1) enter the matchup led by sophomore Katelyn Jamie, who earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week honors after recording her first career hat trick in a 6-2 victory over Chicago State on Aug. 13 at Wish Field. DePaul also outshot Northern Illinois in its second outing, showing the team's ability to create consistent pressure.
For the first time since 2019, Purdue (2-0) has opened the season with back-to-back victories, defeating Indiana State 4-0 and Ball State 5-2. Three Boilermakers enter the week with five points each (two goals, one assist), while the team has totaled 47 shots across its first two contests.
