Kate Novik Selected to BIG EAST Honor Roll

Junior guard led DePaul to first BIG EAST win
CHICAGO – DePaul junior guard Kate Novik was tabbed to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon, marking the second time this season she has been recognized by the conference for her on-court performance.
In DePaul's lone game of the week, Novik posted a team-high 19 points and dished out 10 assists to lead the Blue Demons to an 80-77 victory over Georgetown. Recording her 12th double-figure scoring effort of the season, the Grodno, Belarus native became the first Blue Demon since 2022 to record a points-assists double-double. She also added three rebounds and three steals in the win.
For the season, Novik leads DePaul in scoring at 12.2 points per game while also averaging a team-best 6.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest.
DePaul (4-14, 1-6 BIG EAST) returns to the court on Tuesday, Jan. 13, with a 5:30 p.m. CT tipoff at Xavier.
