Five Wins, Program Record Pace DePaul in Normal

Track and field turn in strong showing at Illinois State
NORMAL, Ill. – DePaul track and field closed out the Joyce Morton-Keif Invite Saturday evening with five event wins and a new program record at the Redbird Track & Field Complex.
Helen Baumgarten delivered a dominant double, winning the 100m hurdles in 13.69 and adding the 200m title in 24.51. Aisha Kazeem secured a victory in the 400m hurdles (1:04.23). In distance events, Amelia Montgomery placed fourth in the 800m (2:16.84), while Gianna Sanchez recorded a personal-best 4:51.94 in the 1500m.
In the field, Lauren Drew posted a pair of top-three finishes, taking second in the discus (43.61m) and third in the shot put (12.43m). Jaiden Gary added a fifth-place mark in the men's discus (45.99m). Aubrey Phillips contributed across events with a third-place clearance of 1.57m in the high jump and a runner-up mark of 40.76m in the javelin. Katelyn Welsh added a runner-up finish in the pole vault, clearing a personal-best 3.83m to reset her program record.
On the men's side, Harper Bryan secured the 400m hurdles title with a personal-best 54.76. Myles Money placed second in the 100m (10.89), while Jorden Reddick added a runner-up finish in the 110m hurdles (15.41). Reid Waco led the distance group with a personal-best 4:10.72 in the 1500m.
