DePaul Finalizes 2026 Fall Schedule

Blue Demons open regular season Aug. 16 at Wish Field
CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer head coach Michele O'Brien announced the program's 2026 schedule Wednesday morning. The Blue Demons will play 10 matches at Wish Field, including two exhibitions, before opening BIG EAST play in late September. Admission to all home matches at Wish Field is free.
"We are excited about the balance of our non-conference schedule and the opportunities it provides for our team to grow," said head coach Michele O'Brien. "We've intentionally built a schedule that challenges us with quality competition while allowing us to develop and gain valuable experience early in the season. Every match will test us in different ways and help prepare us for the demands of BIG EAST play. Our goal is to be prepared and confident when conference competition begins while continuing to improve throughout the season, and we believe this schedule provides the right foundation to do that."
DePaul opens the preseason at Valparaiso on Thursday, Aug. 6. Exhibition play concludes at Wish Field on Sunday, Aug. 9 against Illinois State.
The regular season begins on Sunday, Aug. 16 when Northern Illinois visits Lincoln Park. Denver follows with a trip to Wish Field on Thursday, Aug. 20 before the Blue Demons make the journey to Lindenwood on Sunday, Aug. 23.
A Thursday, Aug. 27 trip to UIC renews the crosstown rivalry. DePaul has won three of the last four meetings, though the Flames earned a 1-0 victory last season. The Blue Demons return home to face Western Kentucky on Thursday, Sept. 3 before traveling to Loyola Chicago on Sunday, Sept. 6.
Non-conference play wraps up with home matches against North Texas on Sunday, Sept. 13 and Southern Indiana on Thursday, Sept. 17. Both contests mark the first meetings between the programs.
BIG EAST play begins at home against Seton Hall on Saturday, Sept. 26 before the Blue Demons travel to Xavier on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Butler visits Wish Field on Saturday, Oct. 3.
Marquette comes to Lincoln Park on Saturday, Oct. 10. The schedule then shifts east for a Saturday, Oct. 17 matchup at UConn before Georgetown visits Wish Field on Wednesday, Oct. 21. DePaul will look to build on a 1-0 home victory over the ranked Hoyas in 2024.
Consecutive road matches close out October, beginning at Providence on Saturday, Oct. 24. The Blue Demons then travel to Villanova on Wednesday, Oct. 28. Senior Day is set for Saturday, Oct. 31 when St. John's visits Wish Field. The regular season concludes with a trip to Creighton on Saturday, Nov. 7.
The 2026 BIG EAST Championships will follow. Match times and television designations are subject to change.
The Blue Demons return 16 letterwinners from last season.
