CINCINNATI (AP) -- Sam Quigley set a career high with seven 3-pointers and tied her season high with 23 points as #12/17 DePaul rolled to a 67-48 BIG EAST Conference win Tuesday night at Cincinnati.
Taylor Pikes added 11 points for the Blue Demons (20-2, 7-0 BIG EAST), who will take a seven-game winning streak into their home game against #8/8 West Virginia on Sunday.
The Blue Demons have won 17 of their last 18 games and are off to their best start in conference history since the 1987-88 team went 9-0 in the North Star Conference.
Shareese Ulis scored 18 points -- 16 in the second half -- to lead the outmanned Bearcats (8-11, 1-6 BIG EAST), who dressed just seven players because of injuries. Cincinnati has lost five straight and six of its last seven.
Quigley tied her previous single-game career high with five 3-pointers in the first half, including a halfcourt heave at the buzzer that gave the Blue Demons a 35-17 lead.
The last DePaul player to hit seven 3-pointers in a game was Missy Mitidiero against Rutgers on Feb. 27, 2008.
DePaul never trailed and led by as many as 29 in the second half. The Blue Demons scored 18 points off of 19 Bearcat turnovers.
DePaul reached the 20-win mark for the 19th time in the program's history while this year's team reached the 20-win plateau faster than any other Blue Demon team. The 2003-04 team also started its season 20-2 -- but it took that team 80 days from its first game while this season, DePaul accomplished 20 wins in 75 days.
The Blue Demons put their 14-game McGrath Arena winning streak on the line on Jan. 30 when they host the Mountaineers. The 3 p.m. contest will be carried live on ESPNU with Jim Barbar and Brooke Weisbrod calling the action.
