Quotes
Head coach Mark Plotkin
On tonight's performance...
"I'm happy with the way our team continues to respond when faced with adversity. We were missing a few starters tonight and asked some guys to play in positions they haven't played all year, and they performed very well. This is a resilient group that finds our way back into games and continues to give us opportunities to win. Jacks goal was a fantastic finish, I'm glad he finally found the back of the net after being so close all year. Harry (Hilling) delivered a great cross and continues to be a driving force behind our attack."
On Drew Nuelle's efforts in goal...
"Drew came up huge again tonight with multiple quality saves to keep the score level and give the guys in front of him confidence to keep going."
On freshman Matthew Brickman's addition to the squad...
"Brickman has been a spark of energy to our midfield in the last few games. He's been developing all year and growing within our system, and each game he improves. Matty works his tail off and has made a difference in each of the last three games."
Freshman forward Jack Richards
On scoring his first career goal...
"It feels great to score my first goal, better than I thought. I've had a ton of support from the coaches and especially my teammates. I hope there is more to come."
On his team's toughness...
"We never give up. Even though we went down a goal we continued to fight and gave everything we had. If we give ourselves a chance and continue to put in 100% we will have a chance to win any game."
