Women's Soccer to Face No. 14 Georgetown and Xavier

CHICAGO - The women's soccer team is set for two contests this week, hosting the No. 14 Georgetown Hoyas on Thursday and traveling to the Xavier Musketeers on Sunday. DePaul sits 6-6-3 overall and 3-2-1 in BIG EAST play following a 4-0 shutout of Seton Hall.

SCOUTING THE HOYAS
Georgetown earned their second draw of BIG EAST play against Butler, putting them at 10-2-3 and 4-0-2 in the BIG EAST. Amanda Carolan leads Georgetown with nine goals and five assists for 23 points. Paula Germino-Watnick is right behind her with six goals and eight assists. Boo Jackson has a squad leading nine assists. Freshman Anna Leat has made 37 stops for a 0.755 save percentage and a 0.91 goals against average. The Hoyas lead the BIG EAST in points, goals, assists and corner kicks.Â

In the 19th meeting overall, Georgetown leads the all-time series 9-5-4.Â

Xavier holds an 11-3-2 overall record, the most since their 12 win season in 2003. In conference play, the Musketeers sit 4-2. Samantha Dewey has found the back of the net 13 times so far this season with three assists to lead the team with 29 points. Dewey leads the BIG EAST in goals, points and goals per game. Brooke Sroka follows with 10 points from four goals and two assists. Toni Bizzaro and Olivia Jenkins have each played eight games for Xavier and combine for an 0.71 goals against average and 0.765 save percentage.Â
