Men's Soccer Visits St. John's Saturday

CHICAGO - DePaul men's soccer plays No. 8 St. John's on Saturday in their final road match of the regular season. The Blue Demons hold a 5-7-3 overall advantage and sit 1-3-3 in BIG EAST play.

The men's soccer program is seeking contention in the postseason as none of the 10 teams in the BIG EAST have been eliminated

SCOUTING THE JOHNNIES
St. John's sits atop the BIG EAST just under Georgetown with a 12-2-1 overall and a 5-1-1 league record. They are currently working through their first winless streak of the season following a loss to the Hoyas and a draw with Seton Hall. The eighth-ranked Red Storm are in the top 25 teams in the nation in goals per game and their goals against average as well as shutout percentage. Tuli Oluwaseyi leads the squad with nine goals and three assists to hold the top spot in points with 21. Niko Petridis and Einar Lye both have four goals and four assists apiece. Jan Hoffelner and Luka Gavran have split the goalkeeping duties throughout the season. Hoffelner owns a 0.50 goals against average and a 0.826 save percentage. Gavran posts a 0.66 goals against average and a 0.833 save percentage after making 25 stops in the net.

SERIES STUFF
The Blue Demons are 3-8-4 against St. John's all time in the series dating back to 2005.
