FULLERTON, Calif. - The Blue Demons dropped 5-1 to tournament host Cal State Fullerton in the final Saturday contest of the Easton Invitational.
DePaul was the first on board after Maranda Gutierrez launched a solo home run to put the Blue Demons in a 1-0 lead in the top of the second.Â
Cal State Fullerton quickly knotted the score with a solo home run in the bottom of the third.
CSF would bring in four more runs in the game to claim the win.
