One Last Tournament Weekend for DePaul

CHICAGO, Ill. - The Blue Demons will travel to Fullerton, Calif. to compete in the Easton Invitational for the final weekend of non-conference play.
In the tournament, DePaul will face five different opponents in Iowa State, Boston University, Long Beach State, Cal State Fullerton and Harvard.
DePaul will play in two Friday contests, the first one against Iowa State at 1:00 p.m. and the second against Boston University at 3:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the Blue Demons will compete against Long Beach State at noon and Cal State Fullerton at 7:30 p.m.
In a lone Sunday game, DePaul will play against Harvard at 11:00 a.m.
Last Time Versus Iowa State
DePaul holds a 3-0 advantage in the series against Iowa State. The two last met in 2017 where DePaul topped the Cyclones 3-1.
Scouting the Cyclones
The Cyclones are currently 13-9 on the season and enter the Easton Invitational off of a four-game win streak in the Shareslo Mustang Classic.
Leading the offense for the Cyclones is Sami Williams, who is hitting a .387. In her 75 at bats this season, Williams has tallied 29 hits and 16 runs, including eight doubles, two triples and four home runs. She has also tacked on 15 RBI this season.
Standing out on the mound is Emma Hylen. Throwing a 2.01 on the season, Hylen has built a record of 6-3. She has pitched 52.1 innings this season and has allowed 43 hits and 21 runs.

This will be the first meeting between the two.
Scouting the Terriers
Currently 11-9 on the season, Boston enters the weekend coming off of a four-game losing streak.
Slugging a .381, Emily Morrow leads Terrier offense. In her 63 at bats this season, Morrow has totaled 24 hits and 10 runs, including two doubles. Morrow has contributed 11 RBI this season.
Throwing a 1.41, Ali DuBois leads on the mound. With a record of 8-3, DuBois has allowed 59 hits and 19 runs in her 69.1 innings pitched.
Last Time Versus Long Beach State
The Dirtbags hold a 7-5 advantage in the series against the Blue Demons. The two last faced off in 2011 when Long Beach State topped DePaul 2-1. The Blue Demons have dropped the last three games between the two.

Falling in their last three games, the Dirtbags currently sit 8-14 on the season.
Starting in all 22 games for Long Beach State this season, Jamie Wren leads at the plate. Hitting a .347, she has powered out four doubles, two triples and five home runs this season while adding on 27 RBI for her team.
With a record of 5-6, Ashley Coleman stands out on the mound. In her 52.2 innings pitched, Coleman has allowed 57 hits and 37 runs.
Last Time Versus Cal State Fullerton

Katie Duncan leads Crimson pitchers with a record of 2-1 and an era of 3.33. In her 21 innings pitched, she has allowed 20 hits and 12 runs.
