Spencer-White Leads DePaul on Day One at North Alabama

Senior is in second place heading into Tuesday's final round
KILLEN, Ala. – Charlie Spencer-White turned in the best round of his career to open the day and is in second place heading into the final 18 holes on Tuesday. As a team, the Blue Demons are in sixth place.
Spencer-White recorded a career-best 67 (-5) in the first round on Monday morning and followed that with a 71 (-1) in the second round. His two-round total of 138 (-6) puts him in sole possession of second place and just two shots behind the leader, Aaron Jackson of North Alabama.
Carlo Antonio Gatmaytan is also in the top 20 after 36 holes in a tie for 18th place. Gatmaytan carded rounds of 74 (+2) and 71 (-2) over his first two circuits of the Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club.
DePaul's remaining competitors include Campbell Wolf, Perry Chong, Joe McCarthy and Grant Boyson. Boyson is playing as an individual and is tied for 46th place after he shot a 77 (+5) in round one followed by a 73 (+3) in the second round. Wolf is tied for 61st following rounds of 81 (+9) and 74 (+2) while Chong is in 66th place following scores of 77 (+5) and 79 (+7). McCarthy is a shot back and tied for 67th with Monday scores of 83 (+11) and 74 (+2).
Host North Alabama is on top of the team leaderboard with a two-round score of 567 (-9). The Blue Demons are in sixth following a total of 589 (+13) and are a shot behind fifth-place IUPUI.
