CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Blue Demons fell 7-0 in a game that was cut short in the fifth inning due to rain. DePaul's record is now 31-13 on the season.
Illinois brought in its first run in the bottom of the first on a solo homer. The next five runs from the Illini would also be brought in by home runs, with a three-run blast followed by a two-run bomb in the bottom of the fourth.
The Illini would bring in their final run of the game in the same inning on a triple before the game was called in the fifth inning due to weather.
