Blue Demons Complete Notre Dame Invitational

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – DePaul men's tennis closes its fall tournament season after completing the final day of competition at the Notre Dame Invitational.

"I am very proud of how all the guys competed this weekend against some solid competition," said head coach Matt Brothers. "I feel we are at a really good place at the conclusion of our fall competition schedule. Guys have made gains in fitness and through a lot of tough competition that has brought an increased level of confidence. We will continue to work hard on the practice courts to be in an even better place before entering the regular season. Excited for what is to come!"

The Blue Demons began the day with the fourth and final round of doubles at 8 a.m. CT. Aleksa Krivokapic and Leon Huck paired up for a match against Western Michigan's Arzhankin and Boone. DePaul fought hard but ultimately fell 7-6(4).

Krivokapic and Huck split off for their singles matches. Krivokapic played against Lohse and won in two sets 6-3, 7-5. Huck also claimed a victory in a three-set tiebreaker versus Boone 3-6, 7-6, 10-3 giving DePaul their third victory of the invitational.

The Blue Demons closed out their 2022 fall tournament season with a win.

The Blue Demons will kick off their regular season competition on Jan. 13 with another trip to South Bend, Ind. to play Notre Dame.
