DePaul Track and Field to Compete at Gibson Invitational

The Blue Demons are set for a two day meet in Terre Haute, Indiana.
CHICAGO - DePaul returns to track and field action at the Gibson Invitational hosted by Indiana State University on Friday and Saturday. Friday's events consist of hammer throw and long distance runs while Saturday will have a full slate of track events including hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m dashes and steeplechase.
In the field, Billie Martin will be competing in the hammer throw after winning the event at the Demon's season opener, throwing for 53.56m. Alongside her in the hammer throw, Casey Mulvey will be making her season debut. Charlotte Anderson will be throwing the javelin after winning the event at the Illini Classic and teammate Kaylee Stammer will also be competing after finishing third in Champaign. In the field, Meaghan Andrews will be running in the 5000m after running at the Illini Classic in early April.
For the men, Alex Bernstein, Ian Cox, Tom Goggin and Ben Litwin will be competing in the hammer throw. Bernstein is coming off a new personal best from last week's Long Beach Invitational. On the oval, Dominic Bruce, Tommy Elwood, Gavin Glaza and Griffin Lehnhardt will be running in the 5000m.
