Blue Demons Kick Off Conference Play Against Marquette

DePaul Ventures into BIG EAST competition
CHICAGO – On Thursday at 4 p.m. DePaul women's soccer will begin their BIG EAST conference play against Marquette at Wish Field. The game will be streamed on the BIG EAST Digital Network presented by SoFi on FloSports.
The Blue Demons (2-5) face off against the Golden Eagles after defeating Lindenwood 3-1 last week. Graduate student Sydney Parker led the offense for DePaul, scoring two goals within the first 45 minutes of the game.
Marquette will arrive with a 4-3-1 record after conquering Western Michigan on Sunday. The Golden Eagles have also defeated St. Thomas, Green Bay, and Central Michigan this season.
Thursday's game will be the 27th match between DePaul and Marquette since 1996. Their most recent contest resulted in a 2-1 loss for the Blue Demons on October 28, 2021.
