STORRS, Conn. – DePaul embarks on its quest for its sixth BIG EAST Tournament title on Wednesday, May 10. The sixth-seeded Blue Demons clinched their 17th-consecutive bid to the league's tournament in the final weekend of the regular season and will take on No. 3 Seton Hall in the first game of the six-team, double-elimination event. First pitch from Burrill Family Field on the campus of the University of Connecticut is slated for 2 p.m. CT.

Live coverage for the first two days of tournament will be found on FloSoftball with action moving to FS2 for Friday and Saturday's matchups.

Series with Seton Hall
DePaul has owned the series history with the Pirates, 30-9, but Seton Hall pulled off the sweep in the regular season outscoring the Blue Demons 31-16 at Cacciatore Stadium.

The two teams have met just three times in the tournament with DePaul holding a 2-1 edge. Seton Hall won the last postseason meeting 9-5 in the 2015 semifinal round in Rosemont, Ill.

Mainstays in May
The Blue Demons have found much success in the month of May, appearing in their 17th-straight BIG EAST Tournament this week. DePaul is 20-13 all-time and have collected five tournament crowns, the most of any active league member, including a three-peat stretch from 2017-19. Rooted in rich history, DePaul has gone on to 21 NCAA Regionals and four women's college world series. Adix-Zins and Co. look to return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019.
