Blue Demons set to renew I-94 rivalry Sunday afternoon
CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer opens a three-match homestand at Wish Field, Sunday, Oct. 6, as Marquette visits Lincoln Park. First touch in Chicago is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT, with live streaming available on the BIG EAST Digital Network/FloFC and live stats on StatBroadcast.
Former letterwinners are encouraged to join the fun at Wish Field on Sunday as the Blue Demons honor Women's Soccer alumni during halftime.
DePaul (2-5-4, 0-1-2 BIG EAST) enters Sunday's match coming off its highest shot attempts of the season (13) in a 1-1 draw with Villanova on Thursday, Oct. 3. Sophomore Shayna da Silva scored her first career goal in that match, helping DePaul extend its unbeaten streak to five of the last six games.
Marquette (4-7-2, 1-2-0 BIG EAST) is coming off a 2-1 victory over BIG EAST foe St. John's on Thursday, Oct. 3. The Golden Eagles have posted three shutouts this season in wins over UIC, Mercyhurst, and St. Thomas.
