No. 6 DePaul visits No. 3-seeded Bulldogs in Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – DePaul women's soccer clinched the No. 6 seed in the BIG EAST Championships after a Thursday draw with Providence, securing a first-round match against Butler on Sunday, Nov. 3, in Indianapolis. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. CT at the Butler Bowl, with live streaming available on the BIG EAST Digital Network and FloSports.
DePaul (5-7-6, 3-3-4 BIG EAST) closed its regular season with its best finish since 2019, when the team went 8-8-3 overall and 5-3-1 in conference play. Aiming for a strong BIG EAST tournament run, the Blue Demons are led offensively by Freya Jupp, Lea Eisenring, and Beth Smyth, who together have contributed nearly 70% of DePaul's goals. Graduate goalkeeper Elena Milam anchors the defense with 70 saves this season, ranking second in the conference.
Butler (10-4-4, 5-2-3 BIG EAST) comes into the match unbeaten in its last five BIG EAST games, including a notable 2-1 victory over UConn on Oct. 17.
