
Blue Demons Open Conference Slate at No. 23 Xavier

DePaul visits No. 23 Xavier Sunday afternoon
CINCINNATI, Ohio. – DePaul women's soccer begins BIG EAST Conference play with a trip to Cincinnati to take on No. 23 Xavier on Sunday, Sept. 22, at Corcoran Field. The match kicks off at 12 p.m. CT, and will be streamed live on the BIG EAST Digital Network/FloSports, with live stats available on StatBroadcast.
DePaul (2-4-2) remains unbeaten in its last three outings, securing victories over UIC and Lindenwood, and drawing with Western Michigan. Junior Freya Jupp has scored crucial goals in the 85th minute or later in two consecutive matches, helping to secure positive results for the Blue Demons.
Xavier (7-1-1) leads the BIG EAST with the best overall record and was ranked No. 23 in the Sept. 15 edition of the United Soccer Coaches poll. The Musketeers dropped from No. 16 in the national rankings after a 3-2 loss to St. Louis on Thursday, Sept. 12.
