Men’s Tennis Opens ITA Regionals at XS Tennis Village

DePaul hosts ITA Midwest Regional for first time
CHICAGO – DePaul men's tennis is set to host the 2025 ITA Division I Midwest Regional Championships from Oct. 16-20 at XS Tennis Village in Chicago. The five-day event brings together many of the top programs from across the Midwest Region, with bids to the NCAA Division I Singles and Doubles Championships on the line.
DePaul is one of 13 regional hosts selected by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for this fall's championship event. The tournament includes a 64-player singles main draw and 32-team doubles main draw, with qualifying rounds used to determine the final field. The two singles finalists and the doubles champion from each regional will automatically qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships, set to take place at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., Nov. 18-23.

Hosting this event reflects our continued investment in the growth of our tennis programs and in collegiate tennis across the Chicago region."
This marks DePaul's first time hosting the ITA Midwest Regional, with matches scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. each day. Admission is free for all spectators.

About XS Tennis Village and the ITA Regionals
Opened in 2018, XS Tennis was founded to empower underserved youth in Chicago by providing access to high-quality tennis instruction and academic support. The facility serves as a gateway for student-athletes to pursue higher education through college tennis scholarships, while also fostering excellence on and off the court. In addition to its community-focused mission, XS Tennis proudly serves as the official competition venue for DePaul's men's and women's tennis programs.
The ITA Regional Championships feature over 8,000 student-athletes competing across 85 events nationwide, spanning NCAA Divisions I, II, III, NAIA, and junior/community colleges. The Division I Regionals serve as an official pathway to the NCAA Individual Championships, which adopted a fall format as part of a two-year NCAA pilot approved in 2023.
