Blue Demons look to ride momentum back to Chicago
CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer returns home following an eleven-day, three-match road swing that included visits to Marquette and then-No. 16 Georgetown before closing with a 2-1 victory over Seton Hall in South Orange. The Blue Demons welcome Creighton to Lincoln Park on Saturday for a campus triple-header featuring men's and women's soccer at 12 p.m./3 p.m. at Wish Field, followed by volleyball at 7 p.m. at McGrath-Phillips Arena. All three DePaul events will stream live on ESPN+, with Alex Campbell and Cavan Malayter on the call for DePaul-Creighton at 3 p.m. CT.
DePaul (4-9-1, 1-4-1 BIG EAST) looks to carry its recent momentum into the final stretch of the regular season, beginning with another three-match, eight-day span that concludes with Senior Day on Saturday, Nov. 1, when Providence visits Wish Field.
Creighton (4-7-3, 1-3-2 BIG EAST) enters Saturday's contest following one of its strongest offensive performances of the year, scoring three times in a draw at Providence. It marked the fourth match this season in which the Bluejays have produced three or more goals. Sitting just two games back of postseason position, Creighton likely needs to win out to contend for the fourth and final BIG EAST Tournament spot currently held by Villanova (4-2).
