Blue Demons Wrap Up Wisconsin Windy City Invite

Track and field concludes final meet before BIG EAST Championships
CHICAGO – DePaul track and field concluded its second two-day meet of the season and its final competition before the BIG EAST Indoor Conference Championships on Saturday night at Wisconsin's annual Windy City Classic.
In the women's field events, junior Jaiah Hopf recorded a mark of 12.86m in the women's triple jump, securing third place.
The women's 4x400m relay squad of Kayliah Motes, Nadja Moll, Sonja Nagle, and Claire Dunn delivered, winning the event and securing first overall in 3:43.54, a season-best mark that ranks third in the BIG EAST and 72nd in NCAA Division I. Senior Jetta Mays clocked a season-best 24.51 in the women's 200m invite, placing seventh (5th BIG EAST). Claire Dunn also recorded a season-best 24.49 in the women's 200m, finishing 13th. Graduate runner Meghan Dieball secured fourth in the women's mile with a season-best 4:44.75. Freshman Vivian Wyller set a personal best in the women's 3000m, finishing in 9:59.85 for 23rd.
In the men's track events, Charles Lewis secured eighth place in the 200m with a time of 21.67, ranking sixth in the BIG EAST. Joe Knanishu clocked a season-best 1:55.42 in the men's 800m, while William Previdi posted a season-best 4:21.98 in the men's mile, placing ninth.
