Kash Allen Leads Blue Demons on Final Day in Terre Haute

DePaul wraps strong final day at Gibson Invitational
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – DePaul track and field capped a busy weekend with a memorable finish at the Gibson Invitational, turning in record-breaking throws, personal bests on the track, and a string of top-five performances.
Kash Allen made program history in the women's shot put invitational, breaking DePaul's outdoor school record with a throw of 15.97m to take third place. The mark vaulted Allen to No. 49 nationally and No. 28 in the NCAA West Region.
Alex Bernstein continued his standout season in the men's hammer throw, winning the event with a mark of 66.47m. Bernstein now ranks No. 29 nationally and No. 15 in the NCAA West Region.
The Blue Demons also piled up personal bests throughout Saturday's competition. Madison Volz clocked a season-best 4:36.02 to place fourth in the women's 1500m, while Vivian Wyller followed with a personal best of 4:41.36. In the men's 110m hurdles, Harper Bryan (15.11) and Jorden Reddick (15.14) each recorded lifetime bests, and Mohamed Abdullahi added a personal best of 1:57.13 in the men's 800m.
On the sprints side, Sade Miller (third, 24.66) and Claire Dunn (fifth, 24.73) picked up top-five finishes in the women's 200m. Nadja Moll placed fifth in the women's 400m (56.27), while Sonja Nagle posted a personal best to finish sixth (56.48). In the men's 400m, Daniel Fasasi recorded a season-best 48.11 to finish sixth overall.
DePaul's relays closed out the day strong, as the women's 4x100m team finished sixth (46.86) and the 4x400m group placed fourth (3:59.07).
