Blue Demons take hot start back to Lincoln Park
CHICAGO – Fresh off its first Power Five win since 2019, the Blue Demons return to Chicago for the 25th edition of the red line rivalry, hosting Loyola Chicago on Sunday, Aug. 24, at 4 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
Fans can enjoy the first soccer doubleheader of the season at Wish Field, with DePaul men's soccer kicking off against Oakland at 12:30 p.m. before the women take on Loyola. Admission is free for all matches in Lincoln Park this fall.

The 2-0 victory marked the Blue Demons' first win and shutout over the Boilermakers all-time. They now look to carry that momentum into Sunday against Loyola, a rival DePaul hasn't defeated since 2019.
Loyola (1-1) split its first two outings to start the season, falling 2-0 at Northwestern before edging Central Michigan 1-0. While the Ramblers have tallied just one goal, their attack has been active with 26 shots and 12 on target.
