SOUTH BEND, Ind. – DePaul track and field is back on the road Saturday for the Notre Dame Invitational, held Saturday, Jan. 24 inside the Loftus Sports Center. The Blue Demons will be active throughout the meet, competing in sprints, hurdles, distance races, relays, and a full slate of field events.
Last Time Out
DePaul enters the weekend after a strong showing at the Pat Heenan Invitational on Jan. 17 in Naperville, where the Blue Demons claimed three event titles and several top-five finishes. Aisha Kazeem won the women's 60m hurdles, while Joshua Hill captured the men's long jump, and Demetrius Rolle took first in the men's 60m dash.
On the field, Aubrey Phillips recorded second-place finishes in both the high jump and shot put, highlighted by a clearance of 1.55m, while Katelyn Welsh placed third in the pole vault and Sophia Nguyen finished third in the weight throw. Additional track performances included a personal record from Alex Long-Craine in the men's 60m and a third-place finish from Harper Bryan in the men's 60m hurdles.

Competing in just his second collegiate meet, the freshman recorded a winning mark of 7.02m (23-0.5), which currently ranks second in the BIG EAST this season and secured him the conference's weekly honor.
